We are the EPC contractor for Total Energies Malawi Ltd. We designed, supply and commissioned all the Company Owned Dealer Operating (CODO) service stations and depots in Malawi. Total Energies Malawi Limited is located in Blantyre, Malawi and is part of the Oil and Gas field service industry.

After thorough research on our professionalism, quality and innovative solar technology solutions, Total Energies Malawi Ltd entrusted us to install CODO Solar systems countrywide and our work surpassed their expectations. Feb 2022 Sky Energy won ”MOST IMPROVED CONTRACTOR AWARD” for Total Energies and this was in respect to our performance of our work and as a ‘GREEN SAFETY AUDITED CONTRACTOR’.

Solarisation of Puma service Stations and Depots Country Wide

We are the EPC contractor for Puma Energy Malawi. Puma Energy entrusted us to install Solar systems which are curbing utility bills for their service stations countrywide. Puma Energy Malawi is located in Blantyre, Malawi and is part of the Oil and Gas field service and industry.

After their research on our competence, professionalism, skill and our experience, Puma Energy tasked us to install solar systems their 18 service stations including depots and we can announce boldly that we have surpassed their expectations.

Solarisation for Various Commercial, Industrial, Non-governmental and Govt Departments

Solarisation for Climate Change and Metrological Dept. (Funded by UNDP)

We designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a 308KwH Lithium battery capacity storage facility, which runs on Hybrid Solar system for DCCM. DCCM, a government department received funding from United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for the hybrid installation of Solar system at its head office in Blantyre, Malawi.

Under UNDP Malawi, through its M-climes project funded DCCM in Blantyre to ESS. The hybrid system, which is one of its kind in Malawi is now providing a steady supply of clean energy to the offices which houses the nerve center for all weather stations in Malawi; including crucial weather servers and Television weather studio.

The hybrid system provide power to the department equipment in monitoring and predicting weather and climate changes. This allows an uninterrupted power source for the management of meteorological data, engineering and research services and Information Technology (IT) development which are paramount to the efficiency of the department in providing timely and accurate information

Solarization for Tea Estates and Factories

Solarization for Save the Children Project

In 2020, Save the Children staff were working from home due to the pandemic of COVID-19. To provide a permanent solution of power outages, we were tasked to design, supply and install various Hybrid Solar system depending with the total load of each and every individual household.

Solarisation for Malawi Blood Transfusion Services

We designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned a 384 Kwh solar energy storage system with 81 Kwp PV modules for Malawi Blood Transfusion Services. This system serves as the primary power source, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of critical equipment and the safe storage of blood products. 

The reliable energy supply enhances the reliability and efficiency of blood transfusion services, supports the preservation of blood at optimal temperatures, and ensures continuous availability of blood for transfusions across Malawi, thereby significantly improving patient outcomes and the overall healthcare system.

Solarisation for 60 Primary Schools and Colleges

We champion solarisation of various
schools and colleges where uninterruptable energy source is of paramount essence. Some of these projects include:

Solarisation of 60 Primary Schools (German KFW funded projects)

With a multimillion dollar funding from Germany through KFW, we solarised 60 primary schools countrywide thereby providing energy source which created a conducive platform for improving education standards in Malawi.
